INTO scholarships: apply now for September 2024

Secure a study abroad scholarship today 

Every year, INTO awards on average a total of £10 million to students in scholarships and discounts globally. With your help, more students can reach their academic goals with INTO scholarships – making quality education more affordable.  

Here’s everything you need to know about scholarships from our INTO centers and university partners in the UK, US and Australia.

UK scholarships 

Many centers are now accepting scholarship applications from students planning to join us in September 2024. There are a variety of tuition fee discounts available depending on the student’s course and study center. 

Pathway scholarships* 

INTO centers may offer scholarships to International Foundation, International Year One, or Pre-Master's students. 

Regional Scholarships are merit-based and offer a one-off tuition discount – the value, T&C and eligibility vary from one center to another.

A 5% sibling discount applies to tuition fees only, for the full program of study for that student. This discount can be used in conjunction with any scholarships. If siblings are studying at the same time the discount applies to the program of study for which tuition fees are least expensive. 

Some INTO centers may offer additional scholarship options. You may contact your Regional Manager for more information. 

Progression scholarships 

Successful INTO students may also be eligible for a scholarship when they progress to one of our partner universities. Some progression scholarships are automatically applied, while others must be applied for and are more limited.

UK scholarships: what’s new?

Here's a summary of the latest updates on progression scholarships. Be on the lookout as more announcements will soon follow. 

INTO City, University of London: rewards for high achievers 

As a reward for their hard work, City, University of London awards a £3,000-progression scholarship to top performing students on the International Foundation program at INTO City. Scholarships are limited, the number of currently available progression scholarships across City’s academic schools is detailed below:  

• Bayes Business School: 6 

• School of Science and Technology: 3 

• City Law School: 2 

• School of Policy and Global Affairs: 2 

• School of Communication and Creativity: 1 

• School of Health and Psychological Sciences: 1 

INTO Manchester in partnership with Manchester Metropolitan University: scholarships for international applicants

International Foundation students progressing to Manchester Metropolitan University in September 2024 may receive up a scholarship of up to £6,000 throughout their studies (£2,000 per year), while International Year One students could reduce their tuition fees up to £4,000 (£2,000 per year). Students’ eligibility will be assessed when they apply to study at Manchester Met.

INTO Queen’s University Belfast: bigger discounts await

Queen’s University Belfast has launched new progression scholarships for INTO Queen’s students, who progress to the university in September 2025. Students could receive bigger tuition fee discounts, making a Russell Group education even greater value.

INTO Stirling’s new discount rates 

The University of Stirling has also released new scholarships for successful INTO Stirling students progressing to the university this year. 

US scholarship update:  

Up to $100K in undergraduate regional-specific, auto-scholarship awards across all four years of study  

We have regional-specific, auto-scholarship awards ranging from $30,000 to as much as $100,000 across all four years of undergraduate studies at the following US universities:  

• Oregon State University 

• George Mason University 

• Drew University  

• Saint Louis University  

 These regional-specific, auto-scholarship awards are available for students coming through the following admission routes: 

• International Year One (IYO) 

• International Direct (ID) 

• Undergraduate Transfer Program (UTP)

Australian scholarships 

Students who plan to study in Perth could be eligible for a scholarship. Whether they’ll complete Foundation or Diploma program with UWA College, or are a high-achieving UWA College student ready to progress to The University of Western Australia (UWA), there are scholarships to support their academic goals. 

UWA College Scholarships 

All students with an offer to study a Foundation or Diploma program at UWA College are encouraged to apply for the UWA College Success Scholarship. Successful applicants can receive up to AUD $10,000* towards their tuition fees. 

Students with a sibling who has already studied (or are currently studying) at UWA College can also receive up to a 5% one-off tuition fee discount through the UWA College Family Discount.

The University of Western Australia (UWA) scholarships   

An extensive range of scholarships await successful UWA College students progressing to their undergraduate degree at UWA. High-achieving students can receive up to AUD$48,000 over 4 years on eligible courses with the UWA Global Excellence Scholarship, one of the sought-after scholarships for incoming UWA students. 

Fostering a diverse student community, the UWA also offers the UWA International Student Award for eligible international students enrolled on any of its undergraduate bachelor's degree courses offered. Successful applicants can receive up to AUD$20,000 (or AUD$5,000 per annum) toward their tuition fees.
