Introducing ‘Get Ready to Study’ – our free online UK pre-arrival program

INTO students can now arrive in the UK feeling more prepared for their learning journey thanks to Get Ready to Study – our new free online program. 

What does the program include? 

We’ve designed engaging activities that include a mixture of videos and interactive content to provide students with a clear understanding of what they can expect when they arrive in the UK and begin their studies. The program comprises 1.5 hours of study and focuses on three core areas:  

Life in the UK 

Key information on what students can expect and what’s expected of them, food, atmosphere and language. There’s also information about INTO Center facilities and what their induction timetable might look like.  

Study Skills 

An introduction to valuable study and digital skills that students will use during their time with INTO, at their university and in their future career. This includes setting up a study environment, strategies for handling assessments, digital literacy basics and self-care. 

Employability 

Information about how INTO CareerFirst provides students with the necessary tools, resources and support to enhance their career prospects, professional development and prepare them for the ever-evolving demands of the global job market. 

How will students access the program? 

Confirmed students will receive an email detailing how they can access and log in to the program’s VLE – they will use their email address as the username and their unique application ID as the password. Students can complete the program anywhere, any time and at their own pace.

Training webinars 

We are running two webinar sessions for our colleagues in market to highlight the key elements of the program. They will take place on Tuesday 19 December 2023.
